We are seeking a professional videomaker aged under 35 to create the documentary video of "Matera inCanta Dante", a project conceived and realised by the Matera UNESCO Club Promoting Committee.
A widespread reading of the Divine Comedy, it aims to create a popular re-appropriation of the poem and to involve, over three days and in various locations and at different times, around four hundred people through the recitation of a canto or part thereof.
The initiative is in line with the mission of the Matera-Basilicata 2019 Foundation, as an example of a sustainable cultural event with high participation.
We are seeking to create a documentary with a duration of 14 to 28 minutes plus a 30-second promotional video. No technical equipment or production software shall be provided for the realisation of the recordings.
Filming shall be effectuated from Monday, 28th September to Sunday, 4th October so as to also capture and document the rehearsal phase of the event, which is to take place from 2nd to 4th October.
Remuneration is of 5000 Euros gross. For non-residents of Matera, the costs of food and lodging shall also be covered.
Applications may be submitted up to 12.00 pm on Monday, 21st September.
